CeraVe SA Cream Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid – 2/5

I’ll start out by saying that I have pretty sensitive skin, and perhaps I should have known better than to try this product – I was just really drawn in my the whole ‘for bumpy skin’ claim.

I have been using this for a week or so, and so far I have used it on my arms, my face and my feet where I have issues with skin texture. Although I’ve only been using it for this week or two, I am going to have to stop, because it feels like it is burning my skin, and has also caused me to break out – quite honestly I have no idea why I continued with it past the first day when I honestly had to wash it off within 5 minutes of first application.

Needless to say, if you have sensitive skin I definitely would not recommend this product. I would however recommend listening to your skin if it is irritated by something, and to stop using that product. Don’t do what I did – applying a moisturiser should not feel like needles are sticking into your face.

The Ordinary Serum Foundation – 5/5

This is the best colour match I have found to my actual skin tone, but due to the coverage level I think I can afford to go up a shade without it looking orangy – feel like it would just make me look less ghost like!
I really enjoy this foundation. Normally foundation makes me look really, really dry and cakey, but I found that this gave me just enough coverage to cancel out redness without emphasising the moles on my face.
I definately think I will go a shade up, but I also definately recommend as it’s the only foundation I’ve tried they had helped me feel more confident as opposed to less.

Painter’s Palette Sample Beauty – 4/5

Love this palette! All of the shades are lovely and pigmented and the colours are so unique. The price was also really good, especially considering the quantity.
The shimmers were amazingly creamy and bright, and I would definately recommend this if you want to go out of your comfort zone!

Despite pretty much every shade in the palette looking amazing, and searching well, when I tried the yellow shade on my eyea I was quite disappointed, as it had to be built up a lot to get to a stage where it looked noticeably ‘yellow.’

This was really disappointing as it was one of the shades I was looking forward to the most.

W7 Total Eclipse Palette – 5/5

I loved the W7 Total Eclipse! The glitters and the matts are both so soft, and the colours are georgous!
I loved the Huda Mercury Retrograde palette but couldn’t justify the price – this is a perfect dupe, and created such lovely and unique eyelooks.
The packaging is also really cute, and I can’t wait to play around with this some more!

Revlon Ultra Matte Lip Mousse – 3/5

This product was pretty nice and comfortable on my lips when I first applied, but it doesn’t dry down completely, and after about an hour began to feel less comfortable. It also looks very different on me than it does in the tube.
The price was good, and if I was looking for a pink I would probably chose this, but I wouldn’t buy this particular colour again as I cannot see myself wearing it very much.

The shade I purchased was Death Valley.
